Mission

Message from Principal's Desk
Educational institutions should provide an environment to the learners to gain a thorough knowledge on the subjects of their interest. I am proud to say that Apollo Engineering College provides a learning environment to learners to have a complete learning
experience on their learning objective. This is possible only with members of the faculty who are experienced in teaching and research, and the laboratories that are modern and contain all the
necessary tools to experience the practical knowledge on the theories that are taught in the classrooms. In addition, many co-curricular and extracurricular programmes shape students’ personality
and character, other than the curricular learning. Therefore, Apollo Engineering College provides all resources that would ensure its students to learn meticulously and prepares them to practice
what they learn in an ethically and socially responsible manner. Its Vision and Mission reflect the same.
Started in 2007, with a humble beginning of four programmes, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Information Technology. AEC has grown into a mammoth institution that provides six undergraduate programmes in engineering and technology disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Aeronautical Engineering and two post-graduate programmes in various branches of engineering and technology, with the current student strength of approximately 1600. The quality of the teaching and learning processes is periodically reviewed and subsequently approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Anna University, Chennai.
Moreover, the college provides exciting opportunities for co-curricular activities through seminars, symposia and workshops organized by the departments and students’ technical associations from all the disciplines. Moreover, through the participation in departmental research activities or in premier research institutions around Chennai, through the presentation of technical papers in national and international conferences and through the participation in national and international technical design competitions, students get very good co-curricular experiences. In addition, students of various engineering and technology faculties publish students’ technical magazines with articles of current interest.
Amenities such as hostels, retiring rooms for men and women students, medical center, canteen, transport facilities, Xerox facilities, stationary stores, Wi-Fi connectivity cater to the needs of the learners. Financial assistance, and many other cash awards and prizes are also offered to the students of the college.
The above narration provides you only some glimpses of AEC. You could learn more when you visit the College.
Welcome to AEC
